The RDK4 KT is a manually operated transformer with 5-step speed controll for 3-phase motors.
Integral motor protection
The five-step transformer includes integral motor protection which cuts the supply voltage to the fan if the thermistor motor protection is triggered.
Power fail-proof
The R-DK4 KT will switch on automatically in the event of a power failure for added safety.
The RDK4 KT is a manually operated transformer with five steps. It is designed for safe and effective use with RVK 315Y4, KTEX, DKEX and DVEX fans. The 5 steps are adjusted manually via the control knob which is situated on the front of the unit. An integral motor protection device is included which cuts the supply voltage to the fan if the thermistor motor protection is triggered. The input terminal for the room thermostat RT will cut the supply voltage to the fan if the circuit is broken. The unit can be reset by turning the knob to zero for one minute.
Remote-controlled operation of the RDK4 KT is possible. The maximum ambient temperature for safe operation is +40 °C. The unit housing consists of light grey plastic at the top and aluminium die-casting at the bottom. The transformer cannot be placed in the EX zone.
