FCD - optimised frequency converter has been designed to provide energetically optimal operation in a range of settings. It is suitable for retrofitting in existing installations. Optimum EMC characteristics are achieved through integrated line reactors and a high-quality EMC filter.
FCD provides continuous operation at maximum output power at ambient temperatures up to 40°C (model FC101) or up to 50°C (model FC102). Product range represented by several versions in term of ingress protection (corresponding IP class included to the name of the product):
IP20, unit suitable for control cabinet installation;
IP54, unit with enclosure for increased protection;
IP55, unit with advanced enclosure for increased protection.
When operating in hazardous areas, the frequency converted must be installed outside of the potentially explosive atmosphere. It combines effective control with simple and adaptable installation.
