TUNE-R-EXDampers

TUNE-R-EX is a control and shut-off damper designed to provide safe and effective ventilation in explosive and potentially hazardous atmospheres. Available in different sizes it is regularly used in industrial and manufacturing applications. The damper unit is available in versions with an actuator and versions that are prepared for the installation of an actuator and with a manual adjustment lever. The damper has a C4 tightness class according to EN1751 for duct static pressure up to 1000 Pa. 

The casing of the TUNE-R-EX, the damper blade and the actuator platform are all made from galvanised steel. A version with both the casing and the blade made from stainless steel A316 is also available. The metallic parts of the damper have electric equipotential interconnection. A connector for an equipotential or earthing system is available on the casing. The duct connections and the damper blade have gaskets from EPDM with increased electrical conductivity. This provides effective protection against an electrostatic charge.
