Manual operation

The 5-steps of the RTRE single-phase transformer is adjusted manually using the control knob on the front of the unit.

Integral motor protection

An integral motor protection device is included which cuts the supply voltage to the fan if the thermal contact in the fan motor is activated.

230V terminals

The RTRE transformer has 230V output terminals for operating dampers, electric heaters or other external equipment.

The RTRE single-phase transformer controls the fan speed by altering the supply voltage in five fixed steps. These steps are operated manually using the control knob on the front of the unit. The RTRE transformer contains an integral motor protection device which cuts the supply voltage to the fan if the thermal contact in the fan motor is activated. The unit can be reset by turning the knob to zero. After a ten-second duration has passed the unit will restart.

The RTRE is available in five different sizes for different motor current. The controller features input terminals for room thermostat RT. This stops the supply voltage to the fan when the circuit is open. These terminals are bridged prior to delivery. The transformer has 230V output terminals for operating dampers, electric heaters or other external equipment. These terminals have no current when the transformer knob is in position 0, or when the TK or RT terminals is open. The RTRE also features a self-extinguishing thermoplastic casing.
