Topvex FCUAir Handling Units

Wide range of compact false ceiling units (FCU) with wireless communication.

  • Airflow range: 400 up to 3,000 m³/h

  • High energy efficiency and space-saving design

  • Easy access to filters for simple maintenance

Three different variants of false ceiling units

The Topvex false ceiling range is a cost-effective, space-saving choice with a wide range of sizes covering most airflows. The range includes three types of standardised Topvex air handling units: versions with rotary heat exchangers (FR), with counterflow heat exchangers (FC), and units using pure supply air (SF).

Easy to transport and install

The compact, flat design makes it easy to install the units in the ceiling void or suspended below the ceiling. They are easy to install or retrofit in buildings and require minimal space. Topvex has good energy efficiency, low operating costs and its compact design ensures smooth transportation through doors and corridors.

Control with wireless communication

The latest generation of the FC variant has wireless communication that simplifies installation and commissioning. You can connect, configure, and control the Topvex units via an app on your computer, smartphone, or tablet. You don’t need to access the unit physically to interact with it.

The Topvex FR and SF versions have wired communication between the control panel and the AHU. Coming soon - wireless communication for the entire Topvex range!

Your ventilation project starts with our selection tool

Select and configure your Topvex unit with a few simple commands in our web based configurator. Using our downloadable plugin for Topvex, installed on your computer, you can easily export the BIM model you get in the configurator to your CAD program. Get all data from the calculation, such as airflow, exact dimensions, sound data, etc. Our plugin is available for Revit, AutoCAD and MagiCAD and can be downloaded from our website.

Heating and cooling coils

Topvex offers various heating and cooling coils, with optional 2- or 3-way valves for water-borne systems. The Systemair configurator calculates the Kvs value for the appropriate valve and you can find information about connection size in the printout. Select the corresponding valve variant from the accessories. If the water valve's size differs from the coil's, use a transition coupling during assembly.

Topvex air handling units for false ceiling installations

Topvex FC units, featuring counterflow heat exchangers, ensure high efficiency while occupying minimum space.

  • Casing with 30 mm insulation and hatches with 50 mm insulation, keep noise level low

  • Casing in Magnesium Zinc (MgZn) with C5 corrosion resistance, outstanding corrosion resistance: three times better than galvanised steel

  • Externally mounted connection box, housing all cables and electrical devices, allows quick, easy connection

  • Side-mounted Quick Connector (RJ-45) for external HMI or ethernet cable for connection to BMS system

  • Heaters with stepless control

  • Two smaller sizes 230 V for single phase connection and two bigger sizes 400 V for three phase connection

Our Topvex FR and SF versions will be updated according to the same concept shortly.

Systemair Access Control System with wireless communication

For Topvex FC ceiling units, we now offer Systemair Access with wireless communication (coming soon for Topvex FR and SF). Our complete control system for air handling units makes advanced technology easily accessible.

With Systemair Access, the operator can optimise ventilation performance and create an optimal indoor climate. By using the air handling unit more efficiently, you can reduce energy consumption and save money.

  • Intuitive, easy-to-navigate menus help you create your desired indoor climate.

  • A plug-and-play concept that reduces installation, set-up and commissioning, giving you full control at your fingertips.

  • Modbus communication to all internal components simplifies wiring, including inside the unit.

  • Multiple units can be connected to the same control panel provided the units are connected to the same wifi network. In addition, the units can be connected to a cloud service for full monitoring and accessibility, even outside the building.

  • Wireless communication. The unit is installed in the ceiling void and can be connected, configured and controlled via an app on your computer, smartphone or tablet
